On April 17, 2026, Lake County Commissioner John Plecnik was recognized with the J. William Stanton Award by the Lake County Republican Party at their annual Lincoln Day dinner at Regovich Catering in Eastlake.

We see that the Lake County Development Council plans to deceive the public with their confirmed panel of socialists talking about property taxes, and how they can protect the ever-increasing government in Lake County – even if they are pricing seniors and those living on fixed incomes out of their homes.
When we look at this video and realize that the State of Ohio legislators have been violating their oath of office for a very long time, we wonder if there is a systemic problem in Ohio politics?
